I'm eating about a half a cigarettes worth of tobacco 3 to 5 times a day. I had already dropped my tobacco smoking back to four or 5 cigs a day . Having trouble not smoking after meals or especially when mad or stressed. Find myself eating a capsule of tobacco when angry and not smoking (a capsule holds half a cigs worth of tobacco). Also find I'm not smoking when i get up in the morning or after meals (xcept once in a while I still do, what a hard habit to break, why did I ever start up smoking again? Yes I've quit before and didn't smoke for years, then started smoking just 1 or 2 while at the beach for a day a few years ago). The biggie is not smoking when drinking a beer or 3. Now that is hard for me! Found that the clove cigarettes help me when partying. I resorted to eating tobacco when I discovered how expensive the patches and gum are which also deliver nicotine to your body, but through the skin (how does THAT work? and is it really safe?_) If you look into studies on pregnant mothers who used patches and gum for for nicotine delivery, vs cigarettes, you'll find the fetuses (and newborns) showed no adverse reactions So based on this info I decided eating tobacco for a short time might help me get over the desire to and break the habit of wanting to, 'lite up' every time I eat, wakeup, or get into my car. It may all be in my head, but I feel it is helping to keep me from smoking after all the usual triggers. I ONLY EAT HALF A CIGARETTE 3 - 5 TIMES A DAY. THE DOSES ARE WELL SPACED OUT TO AVOID STOMACH UPSET. AND I DON'T PLAN ON DOING IT FOREVER. IT IS INTENDED TO BE A BRIDGE BETWEEN SMOKING AND NOT SMOKING AT ALL. JUST AS YOU WOULDN'T USE THE PATCH FOREVER. IT'S JUST THAT LIKE I MENTIONED EARLIER, THE PATCH COSTS A FORTUNE!!!!! barrie in houston TX
